Guide: Creating & Launching Broadcast Campaigns

Step-by-step operational guide for creating and dispatching mass WhatsApp broadcast campaigns.

Prerequisites

  1. An approved WhatsApp HSM message template (
    status="APPROVED"
    ).
  2. A list of contact phone numbers in E.164 format (e.g. 
    +14155552671
    ).

Execution Steps

1. Navigate to Campaigns Dashboard

Open 
http://localhost:3000/dashboard/campaigns
and click "Create Campaign".

2. Configure Campaign Parameters

  • Campaign Name: Enter a descriptive name (e.g. 
    Summer Flash Sale 2026
    ).
  • Select Template: Choose an approved message template.
  • Bind Variables: Provide values for template placeholders (
    {{1}}
    -> First Name, 
    {{2}}
    -> Discount Code).

3. Schedule Execution

  • Choose "Execute Immediately" or select a future 
    scheduled_at
    timestamp.

4. Monitor Live Progress

Watch live progress metrics in the Dashboard: Total Recipients, Sent, Delivered, Read, Failed.
